Charlotte a finalist to host 2014 X Games

Film association says 'Iron Man 3' created 2,000 N.C. jobs

A study released by the Motion Picture Association of America found the North Carolina filming of Iron Man 3 generated $180 million and created 2,000 jobs. That comes as state lawmakers are debating the value of incentives for the industry.

PepsiCo says it will hold annual meetings in New Bern

PepsiCo's CEO said Tuesday at its shareholder's meeting in New Bern that it will hold the annual meeting going forward in the city, which is the birthplace of the soft drink. The company is now headquartered in Purchase, N.Y.

Wilmington bank opens new headquarters
