CEO of Food Lion parent to step down

Belgium-based Delhaize Group, parent of Salisbury-based grocer Food Lion, said CEO Pierre-Olivier Beckers will step down by the end of the year. That came as the company reported stronger revenue and said its rebranded Food Lion stores were continuing to perform well as it seeks to overhaul more of them.
